Work with me

My approach to the work I do with organizations and communities is always contextual and relational. I do not believe in copy-and-paste approaches to personal or social transformation. Rather, I believe, and help the communities I work with to believe, that they both should and can be the solution to the problems they are facing. In this way, I pair my scholarly and experiential expertise with the collective wisdom and expertise of the communities I work with to birth creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems.

DEIBA Consulting

I am a former Director of an Office of Multicultural Affairs and Executive Director of Equity and Inclusion at two different universities and have also been involved in multicultural and social justice ministries in multiple churches. In addition, I have served on nonprofit and governmental boards focused on racial justice and public ethics. • Facilitating church transitions to embody more fully their commitments to justice, both internally and in their communities
  • Leading racial justice workshops and cohorts for university administrators and faculty
  • Creating and implementing strategic plans for college DEI offices, nonprofit organizations, and facilitating curriculum transformations at multiple universities.
